4th Arab Film Festival Berlin - ALFILM
This year's ALFILM will take place November 5-11, 2012.· The MAIN PROGRAMME will be presenting a panorama of contemporary Arab film production including feature and documentary films, as well as short films, experimental films and video art. The FOCUS section titled: "Generation Transit, Youth Culture and Political Change", consists of current and historic films as well as talks and discussions. This year’s RETROSPECTIVE is devoted to the Moroccan director Farida Benlyazid.
We accept narrative features, documentary films and short films which were directed by an Arab filmmaker, have been produced or co-produced in an Arab country or handle an issue that relates to the Arab world. Submitted films may not be older than 3 years, except for submissions for the FOCUS section. The submission deadline is May 31st, 2012. Regulations and entry forms can be found here.
